I’m not a Macbook Pro user, so I don’t suffer from a hot lap.
But if I did, I’d zoom right along to here and download smcFanControl, right now. It allows you to adjust the speed of the MacBook Pro’s cooling fans.
Now I am a Windows laptop user, so I do use this:
Notebook Hardware Control allows you to control the speed of your CPU, which in turns allows your system to run cooler, and longer (if you’re on battery). Try it!
