“… from January?”, asked a customer
Simple answer, no we don’t.
Long answer:
No we don’t. While the BlackBerry Server can be setup to capture SMS messages, we do not, as most users would have an expectation of privacy.
My personal opinion:
If you are using a corporate phone, expect that you can and will be monitored. Within the confines of relevant communication surveillance acts.
The customer was pointed towards the phone carrier, Telstra in this case, to see if they have copies*
* opinion is divided on whether Telstra retains SMS messages. And if it does, it would require a court order to get the information out of them.

Since I wrote Why this blog looks better on a mobile phone, where I talked about using the WordPress plug-in WordPress Mobile Edition, to improve how the blog is displayed on a mobile/cell phone.
Well WordPress Mobile Edition has gone though a major update, and the best thing is that it is easier to use with “touch” browsers (iPhone, HTC Touch etc.).
But a word of warning for WordPress bloggers, it is not compatible with the WP plug-in auto-upgrade feature.
You can download WordPress Mobile Edition here.

These are really useful as it allows me to keep up with Microsoft is doing in the software space.

One thing I have noticed is that the shelf-life of a Ralph modem seems rather limited.
So, for your consideration, this is a screenshot from an “inappropriate software report”.
Now, in the interests of research folks, I’ve googled those names, and I’ve come up with Zilch. Nada. Nothing.

Conclusion: being a Ralph model leads to a short shelf life as a model.
“Why is the Ralph screensaver” on an ‘inappropriate software’ report?”, you might ask.
Well some organisations take a dim view of photos of scantily clad men/women in the workplace, and therefore ask for software asset reports.
Harassment
Behaviour that is unwelcome and offensive and that makes the person feel distressed, humiliated, or persecuted. Includes, public displays of pornography, bullying, derogatory jokes or comments
So they ban inappropriate software & images.
And subject their staff to disciplinary proceedings.
Proofing that people don’t learn, almost five years later, the Ralph screensaver still shows up in reports.
Me? I just wish I had a copy of the Australian Motorcycle News “Susie”* motorcycle poster.
That was sure one fine ZXR750R race bike.
* Sue Ellen Underwood, former Penthouse Pet. The poster was widely known as the “Susie” poster.

I was sorting though my various training certificates, and found the certificate right.
My memories of NT Server 3.51 are now dim, but the following things stick.
- Same look and feel as Windows 3.1, and as 3.51 was based on NT Server 3.5, rock solid as well.
- The instructor talking about having to install TCP to use a TCP/IP network.
But not just any old TCP, but Microsoft TCP.
Yes folks, there was a choice of TCP vendors available, and most were better than Microsoft.
Digital Learning Services has gone the way of the dodo. Sold off by Digital Equipment Corporation in 1997.

Please think before you print: 1 ream of paper = 6% of a tree and 5.4 kg CO2 in the atmosphere, 3 sheets of A4 paper = 1 litre of water
- as seen in a recent email signature.
