The Holden Commodore crashed through five shopfronts on Centre Road Bentleigh, in Melbourne’s southeast, about 1.50am (AEST) on Friday.
Police said the car was spotted travelling around 150km/h in a 60km/h zone.
I know the area well, and while it might be many things, Ramsey Ban did not die in an accident.
You would have to be a complete peanut to travel along that section of road at 150 km/h. Heck, there would be a good chance of the car getting airbourne.
My thoughts are with those people he’s left behind.
