In comes the Service Call from Our Man In The Field.

“… the <users> address book isn’t downloading to their BlackBerry.”

My reply:

“The issue was caused by someone incorrectly spelling the user’s name in the address book field on the BlackBerry Server.

The misspelling was corrected yesterday as the error was causing a large number of errors in the server event logs.

You will need to re-activate the user.”

The following day, a colleague remarks, “that service call.  Our Man In The Field is claiming you’re wrong”.  I can’t see how you are though.”

“I’m not in this case, and I have the screenshots …”

Nothing further was heard.

“The Mary’s”:
I talked about Mary in “Looking for the truth”.
