On a holiday courtesy of my previous hosting company. If you notice some differences, that’s why.
My former web hosting company suddenly decided to enforce a bandwidth limit without telling me. I suspect that finally noticed that bandwidth issue when I requested help to transfer to a “commercial” hosting account type.
So I had to find a new hosting company quickly, and then transfer the blog software over. It didn’t go smoothly. I gave up trying to restore the whole blog from backup, and instead imported the MySQL WordPress Database into a fresh install.
These web articles were a great help to me:

- WordPress.Org: Restoring your database from backup
- How to fix WordPress white screen of death caused by WP-Super-Cache plugin
(I wasn’t able to fix the WP Super Cache issue, which is why I decided to do a fresh install) - Cant import phpmyadmin database
(you need to create and select a database to import too …. Duh!)
