Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 closes immediately after opening

with either a Exception code of 0xc000041d or 0xc0000005.

Some web sites suggests it’s a license error, which can fixed by either deleting some registry keys; or blocking acroipm.adobe.com.

Before trying that, I decided to do a installation repair.

Which worked

It does look license related, as the repair updated the Acrobat license file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\AMT\application.xml
