Windows NT Server 3.51, heck that was a long while ago.

Supporting Windows NT 3.51 Server I was sorting though my various training certificates, and found the certificate right.

My memories of NT Server 3.51 are now dim, but the following things stick.

  1. Same look and feel as Windows 3.1, and as 3.51 was based on NT Server 3.5, rock solid as well.
  2. The instructor talking about having to install TCP to use a TCP/IP network.
But not just any old TCP, but Microsoft TCP.
Yes folks, there was a choice of TCP vendors available, and most were better than Microsoft.
