HP sucks again–can’t even test a laptop properly

Posted onNovember 24, 2010AuthorDale

Fixes an intermittent issue where the system stops responding (hangs) at the Microsoft Windows Logo screen during startup if there are USB devices (USB keyboard, USB mouse) attached to the notebook.

Connect a USB keyboard or mouse to a HP Elite 8440p, then try and boot the laptop up.

It’ll hang at the Windows Logo screen.

HELLO HP?!?  Where has your quality control gone?
